Nope, once they added him to the 40 man every year he goes down uses an option. 

I still agree with them picking Crochet but I completely disagree with how he's been handled.

Me too. Pittsburgh can afford to develop him in MLB as well. 

IMO they've fucked up Crochet's development already to the point that he's useless to the Sox. Go trade him for Reynolds.
