The umpiring hasn't been good all year for us, but this time was the absolute most blatant missed calls and overreaction from an umpire I've seen in a long time. Just brutal.

I like how the La Russa apologists have identified themselves via avatar.

And that's why we get continually one of the worst strike zones in all of baseball.

#1, it shouldn't have taken Katz getting tossed to wake him up. #2, Once Katz did get tossed, Tony should have done enough to join him. You could see Burr was still visibly upset after the inning

Somehow, WS hitters need to channel their justified frustration and take this game back from (sight and judgment impaired) Tom Hallion… and the piss poor performance of Dallas Keuchel.

Great outing by Burr. Got 4 Ks after coming in with 2 guys on and nobody out.

Im at the game, sitting near the plate...even I could tell those pitches were strikes. Brutal.

Thanks for protecting your pitcher and coach there Tony.  Cripes.

What do you want Tony to do? He went out there and argued more than I've seen this year.

You should tell Hallion to blow it out his ass.

Katz barely said anything and got tossed. Ridiculous.

Ricky had his team’s and staff’s back.

Billy that was a ball man come on. Hallion ain't calling anything up there a strike.

I guess it's something. Younger managers probably get tossed there to make a point.

He deserved that one.

Karma’s a b**** Hallion… I wouldn’t cry if that happens a few more times today.

Hed probably blow an artery if he got all hot like younger dudes. It is what it is. Katz is a man, he will be fine and does not need to be "protected".

What was Zack waiting for??

Get well soon Grandal

Collins delivering behind the plate, AND at the plate, today. Woof.

Swing the bat!

Agree with this

Not sure what Collins was looking at on that called 3rd strike

So getting tossed as well protects people who got tossed already? How is that? Katz barely said anything and got tossed. How do you protect from that? Protected from hurt feelings maybe? Katz is a man and will be fine

This ballgame is ovah. I'm turning my TV off.

Tony getting tossed would have fired the team up
