He’s literally 30th in fWAR this year and basically has 1 1/3 seasons worth of starts. He will likely regress some due to a lack of sticky stuff, but he has plenty of room for growth and he’s made substantial improvement in this year alone. Worst case scenario, he’s a damn good #4 starter and that has plenty of value when you’re under control for four more cheap years. Joc probably has negative value at this point. It’s a completely fucking stupid trade idea.
