The O's have to be tanking on purpose if they started Eshelman over Akin. Akin is miles better.

Yeah I just watched the play. Man that is sad. Atlanta is toast for sure now. Their ace tore his Achilles a second time walking. Another good pitcher broke his hand punching a wall in the dugout. Tough season for them.

I say this Goodwin guy might just pan out.

I gotta wonder why pitchers, especially left handed pitchers, would give Goodwin anything to pull. He really doesn't hit the ball with a lot of authority to the opposite field. You're pitching to his strength by busting him in.
