Just an FYI, but Tony already said Hendriks is out tonight

I'm guessing now that they have Kimbrel and Hendriks, they'll use them in alternating order.

  • I honestly hope La Russa runs Tepera back out there if the Sox have a lead. Get the guy's confidence back and show that little blip last night is in the rear view.

I would be all for it if Abreu was hit on purpose.  But that was not the case. Dick measuring contests sometimes make sense. Not here. The AL Central has surrendered, perhaps for several years. Just k

Poor outfield positioning. They should be on the other side of the fence.

For the love of GOD, can Rick DFA Goodwin to take away that option for Tony?!?

In the last 30 days, Goodwin has a .604 OPS vs RHP and Hamilton is at .606. Goodwin no longer provides a platoon advantage and Hamilton is the far superior outfielder. Now that Leury is freed from 2B there's really, really no use for Goodwin.

I swear.. the guys who eat crow when they call out a player is my favorite part about game threads.

That was a terrible pitch

Cutter right down the pipe...sigh.

I thought Rosario swinging at that 3-1 sinker down low was helping Dallas...nope.

Which is why it’s amazing when they beat us.

When their top 3 are healthy…and McKenzie is on, and Karinchak/Clase at the back end, they’re a .500ish team.

But even that won’t last when they trade Ramirez.

Ultimately, they’re going to have to sign Bieber long-term or deal him, like the Twins with Berrios.

Here we go Keuchel is about to turn into a pumpkin again. He might not make 65 pitches tonite

Dallas really can't afford to fall behind guys 3-0, especially not free-swingers like Rosario.

Somehow Benetti will get some kind of gig like sideline reporter…if he manages to steal a bow tie away from a certain someone.

McKenzie with a .196 BAA and six walk average…the thing you have to do is wear him down with prolonged at bats like Abreu in the bottom of the first.

How bout this one?

We definitely don’t want any part of him or Cease starting a post-season game…2020 turned out to be the mirage most advance metrics were underpinning with a contrary storyline.

Btw, very quietly, Haase now has 18 homers for the Tigers and sneaking into ROY consideration behind A.Garcia of the Strangers (new nickname since they really suck.)

I'm not sure how Franmil didn't hit that one out.

Crazy that Seby’s went out and that one did not

Last year's Keuchel is completely different than the one this year. This year's Keuchel is giving up more barrels than he's ever given up. For a ground ball pitcher, that can't happen. His barrel and hard hit rates were very good last year and while he probably got lucky, he was still a decent pitcher underneath. Ever since he got hurt late in the season last year, he hasn't been the same guy. The command is just not quite there. For a guy who has subpar stuff, he can't get away with mistakes in the zone.

WE NEED RUNS!!!!

Seby actually hit his a little harder.

Congrats Jason! Another accolade to his growing career

More to the naked eye, it looked like a normal fly and Reyes looked like he crushed it

Cleveland's defense is pretty bad. Just an observation.

Great at bat for Sheets

Not sure Mercado was doing on that, but thanks for the extra base!

Sheets is the real deal

Sheets is awful base runner. He needs to tag on that

Gavin Sheets is a terrible baserunner.

Seems like no Sox coming up have a grasp on fundamentals. This needs to change.

Sheets should have been tagging. Instead, he thought that was gonna drop.

Cost the Sox a run
