Not sure why La Russa didn't do that when Eloy was at 2B but whatever.

People here bitching about why let Lynn hit are the same people who b**** endlessly about the bullpen.  Can't win.

So he is a horrible ump and sounds like a class act away from the game...doesn't that beg the question of why he is still employed as an umpire?

Because umpiring is hard, and the guys below him aren't much better. Kind of like being the worst guy on a MLB roster.

Eloy looked fine and was laughing

Maybe they saw something as he was advancing to 3rd.

Not watching game.......is this precautionary ????

Yes. Probably just don't want him injured on a play at the plate.

Yeah maybe pulling him now makes him available to play again tomorrow.

Isn't that the Bartman seat?

Moncada's timing is off.  He's getting started way too late.  Get that foot down.

Good at bat for Yoan

Wonder if he was just looking for the change up in that at bat.

I'd rather let Yoan steal 2nd

Not like Hendricks throws hard. Could be why he's struggling so much with velocity this season.

He was fine. Jogged off smiling and everything.

Your wish is Yoan’s command!

Safety squeeze.  NL style.

Needs to get it done or else they walk Hernandez

Eloy is not injured

no called 3rd please

Sox just never elevate the ball with runners in scoring position

Bad strike zone forced that swing...
