Mariners had 2nd and 3rd two outs and don't score. They probably could have had Kelenic score fairly easily and held him.

Doesn’t have the will to win.

Wish we could pick up Haniger, but probably one year too late now if we pulled the trigger.

10/1: Houston wrapped up the AL West last night, and one more win by Houston or loss by the Sox will lock Houston in as the #2 seed, with Tampa Bay already having clinched the #1 seed. New Y

Wow, would not want to bet that game.  If forced to, would go with Jays because they seem to be playing a bit more freely but then winning at Fenway won’t be easy.  For Berrios, any opponent not named the Yankees would be a good thing.

When Berrios is good, he's really good. But when he doesn't have it, it's pretty ugly. The Sox got him twice this year pretty good.

Rays just can't break through. Still no score in the Bronx. I think the longer that game goes without any runs, the more likely NY wins cause Cash might just throw some nobody out there in extras.

Do the Rays even have anyone like that in their bullpen?

Phillies at 10, Angels and Tigers at 7 years the three longest postseason droughts if Seattle miraculously rallied.

Mariners, of course, at 20 years and counting.

Cash using McHugh right now, so maybe I'm wrong. I think the Rays want as much trouble as possible for whoever wins the wild card, it really is in their best interest.

Eovaldi, from fantasy league experience, also has his occasional blowups…Berrios can definitely add on to his FA take or extension from the Jays if he wins that one.

Jose’s right on the periphery of being really good, but definitely not great, a bit similar to the White Sox situation with Lucas.  And Giolito had that extended 1 1/2 season run of close to dominance.

(All that said, choosing to go all in on Buxton over Berrios the logical move for the Twins if you can only go after one extension.)

Top of 8, 0-0 still in the Bronx.

Mariners look like they're done. 7-2, top 5.

I’m now rooting for no baseball tomorrow. I don’t want the Blue Jays offense in there.

Mercer trying to help the Red Sox again.

Arozarena on third with 1 out.

Cruz chokes and Ks with a runner on third and 1 out.

If you could sign up for a Sox/Jays ALCS right now, would you do it? Or would you let it play out?

MLBN - Kenny/Showalter/Floyd > Amsinger/Reynolds/Plesac

By a large margin.

Where do I sign?

Still scoreless in NY.

Robertson is in. This is probably NY's best chance to score.

123 go the Yankees, good catch by Phillips to end that inning.

I was planning a road trip to Toronto next season, but I'd be happy to do it this year. ?

You need a big Red Sox comeback and a Yankee score. Seems unlikely.

You will need to demonstrate a vaccine card and a negative Covid test less than 72 hours before crossing.

I would love to see Chapman give up the lead here.
