What is it with Tony leaving starters in who are obviously struggling with one elite setup man and TWO ELITE CLOSERS

That's without even including Tepera, Bummer, or Crochet. No team has close to this many resources in their bullpen.

Here for the piping hot TLR-disease taeks.

no chance but at least it won't be an issue in the playoffs

hopefully

Every time we are losing lol

We need to sign Carlos in the off season and trade Dallas and get a prospect or two

Having no one up in the pen when he’s around 100 pitches is dumb.

TLR pretty much rolls the dice every time to get a few extra outs from his pitchers. It's why you see him pulling guys after they walk one guy in an inning they had no business pitching in.

If Dallas is starting in the playoffs we have much greater issues

You don't think Dallas should have been pulled? Lol?

Well at least the Twins bullpen is terrible!

The home run isn't on TLR

Its on Kuechel for walking a guy with 2 outs then throwing a meatball to a midget

Yeah how dare people call for the pitcher to be pulled at 100 pitch mark when he’s a massive liability 3rd time through the order

When there's a glaring very obvious in the moment mistake, rightfully so

A good manager pulls him after the walk to Sano. Hell, a guy like Cash probably doesn't let him pitch the 6th period.

I think you give the vet a chance to finish his inning.  Didn’t work.  What’s the big deal?

Because this is not the 1st time that has happened. it's a trend that's the big deal.

Hitters are only hitting .316/.387/.495 of Keuchel 3rd time through. You can't expect a Hall of Famer to know that!

Because the numbers are obvious that he sucks the third time through. Why chance it almost every time?

We harp on this in every game thread Keuchel pitches in and more often than not, we're right. You know why? Cause the numbers are glaringly obvious.

Keuchel turns the average hitter he sees 3rd time through into peak Jose Abreu. The Sox have the deepest bullpen in baseball. There's no reason to push your luck with Keuchel in most situations he's out there.

Man......not much patience v a guy who walks a lot of guys

Dallas can not go past 65 - 70 pitches. I do hope we do not have him on contract past this year. We can use that $ to keep Rodon. Dallas as I said last week is a 2 inning guy in the middle of a blow out game.

How do we know there was no one warming up?  Did I miss the Minnesota camera crew show a shot of an empty Sox bullpen?

Right.  Everybody knows the numbers.  Our staff knows more about everything than us

The same reason it was a big deal when Cody Parkey missed 4 FG's for the Bears in a regular-season game but the Bears still won.

It was an issue that was overshadowed because of an abundance of talent. But that issue came back to bite them at the worst possible time.

That's why it's a big deal.
