You wonder why Lance didn't try throwing the curveball more to Wisdom.

well we won 2 in a row so we gotta make sure we put out a shit lineup today to kill momentum.

  • I don't understand the need to rest either Eloy or Robert. They are young players. Why do they need a rest especially when they spent months not playing? I know they were rehabbing with their injuries

  • Can we please see a shutout today? That’s about the best thing I could hope for at this point. 6 IP from Lynn and then a shut down scoreless 7th, 8th, and 9th. Here’s your cherry White Sox.

So Reynaldo Lopez and Jose Ruiz can string together scoreless innings against the Cubs but nobody else can.

Sometimes baseball is weird.

For me, I know I said I just didn’t want the Sox to get swept back when the Cubs were loaded and Sox sucked.

Pretty much

I don't know how this offense looked so good and patient yesterday but is now swinging at every other first pitch.

Patrick Wisdom have a series

such a flawed team

No barrels from the Sox tonight. They've hit some balls hard, but all on the ground and one was a liner that Heyward almost caught.

Just no consistency.  It feels like every bench player just faded at the same time.

Mills was a bad fit for a team coming off a 17 run outing

How bad must the pitchers in Charlotte be if Wright was the best of the bunch

I agree with you, I would have gave an inning to Kopech tonight.

goodwin ops headed for below 700

As always, just so thankful they were concerned with finding him more at bats at the deadline

This offense has too much potential to be shut down so often

It doesn't help that the Cubs made EVERY defensive play tonight.

Easily the stupidest oversight of the deadline. Relying on Engel and Goodwin/Sheets/Lamb is too damn dumb

Anderson/Moncada/Abreu/Jimenez/Grandal/Vaughn are a combined 2-16, but yeah, Goodwin is why this game was lost 7-0.

Who do you all give the edge to in the matchup tomorrow?

Couldn’t care less about this game. Shoulda gotten a real RFer for October

This will either be the greatest comeback ever or a terrible loss against a AAA team who is clearly tanking.

On paper the Sox but this has been such a bizarre series I wouldn't bet on anything.

After yesterday’s offensive onslaught, White Sox hitters have been way too pull crazy at the plate today. They (collectively and individually) haven’t attempted to take the ball the opposite way and up the middle tonight. This has played right into Mills’ hands.

Hopefully, they will recognize this failed approach and change it (accordingly) vs Kyle Hendricks tomorrow.

Like Timmy pulling a slider way off the plate to the SS

The evidence is irrefutable
