Of course the Royals can have a quality 11 pitch at bat against us but couldn't score a single fucking run with the bases loaded and nobody out. Yes, I'm still salty about that. These slapdick fuckers always get up to play us and just lay down against Cleveland.

Problem is his command.  Until he can throw strikes more consistently, he's going to just keep getting lit up.

Earlier in the year when he was 6-1 and had a Sub 4 ERA, he was getting ahead of hitters consistently.  How many times have we seen him fall behind in these last 8 starts or even get ahead of a hitter only to just go deep into a count and give up a hit.

What the hell are the Sox waiting for, to get him out of the rotation?  Move him to BP pitcher. That what he is good for at this time.

Yep, their throwing error from 3rd base yesterday was the worst throw I've seen all year.

This is some effort by everyone tonight.

Give the KC scouts credit, they absolutely have a game plan prepared for the Sox.  Sox seem to have zero plan whatsoever ?

KC has our number this season.  They seem to have the confidence that they can beat us.  They don’t have the same confidence against the Indians.

I wonder if we'll see Romy make his ML debut on the mound tonight

Well at the moment we don't have anyone. If everyone was healthy it would be pretty obvious Lopez should be in the rotation

it will end up being Crochet in the 8th

Could we have a four man rotation or a bull pen game instead of keeping Keuchel in the rotation?

It should be

  • Mendick 6th
  • Goodwin 7th
  • Hamilton 8th

I'd love, love, love to see Kopech going 3 innings in a bullpen game in place of Keuchel's spot.

But will we see it? Uh, well.. it's fun to dream.

Too many injuries, they’ll prolly just throw him out there to “eat” innings. Hopefully this is enough to show he has no chance at hell being on the playoff roster and maybe even enough to show they should just cut bait this off season.

DK lobbin' BP again. Such a tough watch.

DK should be recruited for pitching in the HR Derby.  Some lucky hitter will be happy with the results.

It's not your night when Yas swings at ball 4 out of the zone twice in the same AB.

Woo hoo! No shutout.

What's the point of keeping him in the game now?  All you're doing is risking injury to someone you can't afford to lose.

The defense is bad for Kuechel because he takes forever out there. Players lose interest, we are bored and watching on TV. The Eloy one was a wet ball, can’t blame a guy for that.

Also doesn’t help that Keuchel is getting hit very hard.  Not too much soft contact with his junky pitches and bad locations.

Hernandez has clearly hit a wall. Vaughn needs to take advantage here.

I would have taken him out once he was on-base. Agreed.

Vaughn looks no bueno right now.

Vaughn pissing me off he's been neutered.

how so

Dallas Keuchel’s performances have been very concerning. I think his position on the team would be in question if we didn’t have a ten game lead
