Gotta lose today. Win on the field in Cleveland on Thursday. More fun.

  • Tigers are probably the better team right now, and their Manager is definitely better.  Fry in there late with game on the line is nuts.

They are currently doing mass Rock/Paper/Scissors to see who wakes up Tony.

Problem #1, listening to the Score.

I'd like to believe that but I just can't see JR letting him go unless TLR walks away himself.

I am hoping he walks away.  He isn't able to manage this sport anymore.

Looks like whoever scores the third run is gonna win this game.

I don’t think the second half malaise has been his fault necessarily

They'll change some of the staff beneath him unless TLR does that.

Good luck to the Sox in Cleveland. Your going to need it. Lol

Jace is a two inning guy now?

I disagree.  I don;t think we are in first place with another manager.  The amount of injuries that have happened, I'm not sure another manager would have been to get that out of these guys in the first half.  Even if it's something as simple as getting guys into the outfield who had never played before.  TLR will win manager of the year pretty easily.

Fry for a second inning is asking for trouble

Fry pitching a 2nd inning? TLR learned nothing when he did this last time lmao

I don't know, the first half it seemed like even when there was an injury, the person they had to step in wouldn't be great, but they would have the same fire to win the game that everyone else had. Once TLR shifted into "get everyone healthy" mode in July, it feels like everyone took their foot off the gas, even when people came back from the IL.

We’ve given up in this game.

This is ridiculous. If you’re not gonna try to win the game, then don’t waste position players also.

0-4, 6 LOB for Eloy. Woof.

Pretty clear TLR doesn't care who wins this game when he leaves Fry in for a 2nd inning to face the middle of the order.

They want to win on the field in Cleveland

Game has become too fast  and complex for TLR. This is not your 20 th century laid back summer pastime anymore.

This team is not a sub .500 team with another manager, not if they're remotely competent. For every game they won with something remarkable, they gave away at least 1, sometimes 2 games with something baffling out of the dugout. It's been one of the hallmarks of this season.

When has he learned from his mistakes this season?

Then why the hell did they play all the starters today?

Prepare yourselves, the dreaded 8th inning awaits our bullpen.

I honestly don’t know

Won’t matter by that time
