You weren't disappointed with the sloppy play, poor fundamentals and baserunning, the blown leads late by the bullpen, the questionable managerial decisions, the seemingly "punting" of many games not

TA flirting with .310 again.

I'm trying not to get caught up in the regular season head to head stats, I think NYY will have a pretty depleted and beatup team if they make it to the 2nd round

I'm not looking at head to head. Tampa has only had one guy throw over 100 innings with an ERA under 5. In a shorter series I'd rather face the Yankees but in a longer series, I think Tampa has trouble covering enough innings with their bullpen.

Vaughn has been saving up all his RISP hits for October

playing the long game

It wasn't with 2 outs. He really struggles with RISP and 2 outs. Everything else has more or less been fine.

Yaz didn't get hurt did he?

Nice approach by the young man and he was rewarded for it

Runner not in scoring position...Timmy's wheelhouse.

No, I think they're just taking some of the starters out.

Is there literally anything in baseball less predictive than RISP *with* 2 outs performance? I know Vaughn has looked bad, but still

Yoan can put the Tigers away for 2 nights in a row.

Rays had a runner at 3rd with 1 out and didn't get him in. Sox killer Nelson Cruz apparently is not a Yankee killer.

Yoan is getting a lot of hittable pitches this ab

Yoan's been a bit behind all these pitches in the zone.

Ugh you hate to see TA get caught in a rundown in a meaningless game like this.

What the hell was that?

one of the dumbest, lowest IQ teams in the post season

That should never happen

Some bad baseball there

Not ideal.  But back in this one.

As always, I blame Miguel Cairo

whoever the coaches are who prepare these guys daily, they all gotta be replaced, fucking christ, old man at 3b can go too

His stats haven't been all that impressive with the Rays

Where the heck was Tim going? Even if that WAS dropped and safe at home, he’s still getting caught in the rundown.

Could be that age is finally catching up with him. I also think he has trouble seeing the ball at the Trop. His home/away splits since he's been traded there are pretty drastic. .250 wOBA at home and .350 wOBA on the road.

Get fucked Haase.
