interesting, we may see a WR added today

Meh. Is he better than everyone outside of Mooney? Yeah, probably, but if they're giving up anything more than a 5th I'd rather swing for more of a sure thing.

This is the running joke of the bears.  They are rebuilding, and still the fans cant let the rebuilding team figure out what is there and what isn't.  Its the 2nd game of tearing it down and people ha

  • To summarize, a QB that "sucks" in Fields put up 32 points against a defense that just added Bradley Chubb and is supposed to be a playoff contender, and needed an incredibly generous non-PI call in t

not as interested in Bourne specifically just happy they are also looking to re-allocate to offense. Bourne not much different than Pettis to me.

I would have no issue if they gave up a 4th rounder for Cooks.  They can afford his contract and need a couple wideouts and at least you get some certainty now.  That said - I presume a contender might give up more for Cooks.

Vikings acquire TE Tj Hockinson from the Lions

f*** yeah. Bears got Claypool for a 2nd. That's what I've been calling for all season.

Let's goooo.  Love this trade.

Better be for the 2nd rounder they got yesterday.

Bears acquire Chase Claypool for the Roquan 2nd.

this just in: my browser was stale and I was not first

With that said, crazy that the Browns got Amari Cooper for only a 5th rounder last year.  $20M this year for Cooper is pretty solid, especially given the contracts that worse WRs were given in Free Agency.

I'm a bit nervous just because production has been super meh, but I'm also not surprised. I figured Bears were going to go after a big receiver. Had a big need for one and the ones in draft are 6 ft

So how is the Claypool contract situation?

Too many Domers!

I do continue to like how the things poles/flus says they want are what we continue to see them target.

Signed through 2023 season.  Cap number is only $2.1M next year.

Ok, that makes the pick seem a lot more worth it.  You are basically getting two seasons at a draft pick price.

Big Ben was washed last year and look who he had this year. Hoping thats the case. I think you still add a 1st or maybe a 2nd rounder next year.

Believe he's got 1 more year after this.

drafted same year as mooney, UFA in 2024. Second rounder so no 5th year option.

Claypool-Mooney-1/2R pick next year could be sexy.

I get it but Diontae/Pickens have found production.

I am good with it, he's 24. His 2020 was really good, he's big and got typical speed but super athletic. Exactly what they've outlined.

I just thought he was a bit overrated when fans were saying "roquan for claypool who says no?". Apparently it was closer than I realized, with just a 4th separating them.

Roquan for Claypool and 5th is what this shakes out to.

With the FA WR class being absolute trash, I don't hate giving Fields some help NOW.

Don't love that it's the Bears pick and not the Ravens.

I like it.

Today on this website is “SQUIRREL!!”

very important to make the inevitable "chase claypool is younger than Velus Jones Jr" comment.
