Vaughn seems to have a serious wrist issue. Probably shouldn't expect much out of him this year.

Well that would make you happy wouldn't it?

Pretty excited to say I'm going to the game today unless the plane crashes or United pulls their typical delay tactics. We've pulled away from the gate and the engines appear to be getting revved up t

  • For the record, I still hate the 10th inning rule regardless if we win this game or not.

Cora getting tossed probably bought them that call.

That was strike 3.

Why would taking one of the better hitters in the lineup out make me happy? It fucking sucks.

You wanted to send him down to AAA.

It's a bit too early to declare Vaughn's season over just yet, lol.

Cease wreaking havoc with the slider.

Jack is a doctor. Bruises are always season ending injuries.

He was the youngest of the 1B/DH logjam and they needed to see if they had anything in Sheets and Burger. The answer on both of them seems to be no, so Vaughn should DH when healthy.

Maybe the White Sox will give $200+ million to Bogaerts...

Nah, that's not happening.

It's also not like he has been the picture of perfect health throughout his career either.

Hey Caulfield - I've BOOMERED you twice now  - with no response. What's the problem?

PTATC was worried about him after he got the cortisone shot.  I thought it was a minor injury until I read his posts.

Nice long way of saying yes you did and it was dumb.

They need Pollock in LF and Engel in RF so we have a chance defensively in low scoring games.

and somehow you extrapolated out of his posts that we shouldn't expect much out of him this year.

The whole point was that neither Vaughn nor Sheets should play anywhere other than 1B or DH, and there's a lot of those guys on this team.

Agreed.

Wrist injuries kill hitters. They're about the worst injury a hitter can get.

Go ask Shawn Green.

Can Robert please just take a pitch, once.

It's 523 am and I'm jumping back and forth into the thread...Boomered?

Yaz got his pitch there and missed it.

Burger will be back down soon.

Sheets is going to get at least another month or so since there are no other options...

Sheets and Yaz both got fastballs in their swing path and popped it up.

Feels like every Gavin Sheets swing right now, is a pop up to the infield....as if he is trying to Joe Borchard every pitch he sees.
