Choi just took that ball the other way..kinda up the middle...he hit it where it was pitched...didn't take a big looping swing trying to pullthe ball...put the ball on the bat...and they got a run..

If anything the Sox don’t take enough big looping swings

They are putting the ball in play too much, as paradoxical as that may sound

This team is done. No energy. No life. No hunger. They have assumed the identity of their manager. Nothing is going to change until they clean out the coaching staff. This is a lost season. Fuck

2021 Moncada is a great player to have on your tem, I would be fine if that guy decides to show up

How much do you think it has affected Vaughn having to play the OF and not getting to play his natural position? I look at Torkelson with the Tigers and it was the same situation only Cabrera gave up

5 pitch inning for Rasmussen

Moncada  .139  How long till he is sub .100 ?

Another 28 at bats and then he is right at .100.

People need to stop going to games! Seriously fuck this team.

Dammit. 6th wall(s) of the day scores on an error. So that’s how someone scores.

Taylor?

62 pitches for the opposing pitcher in the 6th inning....

Think about that

But only one strikeout, pit the ball in play early  and good things happen. Tony must have read a ball on strategy and approach from the 50s

Just got home from graduation, how's the game going?

You have to fire Tony, but of course they won’t.  This is the worst team in baseball right now.

Rasmussen has thrown 66 pitches in 6 innings. I think that tells you everything you need to know

at least he'll be "reevaluated" after wasting what should have been the best team during this entire contention window

They aren't angry enough!

Allow him to retire with dignity. Move him to JR's personal ball boy. Advisor. Anything. But yeah, he needs to be out of the dugout.

Promoted to the front office because his time in Arizona was such a success.

The Sox have one of the highest opposite field rates and lowest strikeout rates for any team in baseball. This offense has many problems, those 2 are not amongst them.

Fuck his dignity

everyone conveniently left that out when they were trying to spin hiring him as a positive

Or that.

Trade everybody on the roster and get the highest return possible including TA and Robert, then hire Willie Harris to manage a bunch of up and coming kids. I’d rather watch that than this. At least then we’d be optimistic about the future.

7 walks??.

These Dback teams were loaded with exciting young players, not only the Shelby Miller trade was infamous. He traded for the wrong Basabe brother and let that team fizzle out to irrelevance

Feels like every game this season has been the Sox trailing by 2, in the later innings, with a sub replacement level reliever on the mound to try & keep the game close

That’s a week‘s worth for our Sox.

Because that optimism for the future we had before worked out so well?

By the way, I do love the Willie Harris idea.

Why?  We have the worst farm system in the game and who could we actually trust to make those trades successfully?

Paddy?

3 groundouts now for Moncada…
