Who else can he hit there? Adam Haseley? The roster just sucks right now.

Haseley or Reese while not great by any stretch have a better shot at a positive outcome

Amazing how Abreu just keeps sucking it up and playing thru pain.   That guy is built so much different, and probably more to do with heart than physically.  For a team full of grapes, it's

  • Abreu is also 7 or 8 years older than most of the core of this team. And yet, he somehow still plays through pain. I'm not sure if that's just the greatness of Jose or an indictment against the rest o

You can leave off basically and your statement holds true

He was right on Lambert and Martin because we eventually won that game lol.

I would have much rather seen Carlos Perez up than Seby. At least there's a chance of some upside with him.

have a look at the catcher position around the league, it’s not great.

Isn't he hurt

There's zero depth in the organization and that's almost entirely on Rick Hahn.

But the depth need depth and that depth will need depth. The Sox need a 90 man roster.

He was lucky, not right….lol

We need new management and new ownership. Trainers gone! 3rd Base Coach gone! TLR gone! JR, please sell.

Sosa time….literally the only reason I still have this game on

This season has been brutal to watch, but I take a tiny bit of semblance over the people who argue managers don’t matter being wrong.  This team is tied for the division lead with any competent manager despite all the injuries.  It’s almost incomprehensible how bad Tony has been this year.

Hard to string to together runs when you only have five major league hitters in your lineup.

It's been like this for a while now, and they have been scoring runs.

Surprised TLR did not go for his usual lefty righty matchup.  I think his aversion to pinch hitting might be larger than the matchups.

Rather large crowd this evening being disappointed.

Between inning music is fun though. A little Macho Man earlier.

Honestly I’d be happy with TLR being gone to start off with. I don’t have to be greedy

Gallo hitting .176 now, pretty sure he's not the answer but maybe the Yankees give up like they did with Contreras and Quintana.

Just what need. Called up before he’s ready, maybe he makes a fool out of me.

He's been playing every day since the 15th, so not anymore. 3 hits tonight ?

Bautista is a real rough 1st ML AB for Sosa

The bold might help this message get through.

Can’t do any worse than the people they currently run out there

You mean for the last two weeks?

He was hurt at the time. No reason not to make the swap now tho.

99 should be easy gas for Sosa.

It will be hard to win at home when we are not hitting homers.

Unfortunately par for the course.
