Just announced, Pilkington a late scratch. S. Bieber to start Game 2 as well.

  • I beg to differ. We do know. But if we say it too often, that will mean we are not good White Sox fans.

I’d love to see what the Jays development staff would do with Eloy, Robert, & Moncada.

More strikeouts, lots of pull side homers. More effective overall for certain.

Robert was one of the few good hitters between 2020 & 2021 without a GB problem. So of course, he raised his GB% by 11% from last year and is a singles hitter now

Broke out the curve ball?

That was nasty.

Tony's about to do this again??

Dylan definitely losing it a bit.

Of course Call up now.

The swing and miss would still be there, but I think we’d see a more disciplined approach and less chasing bad pitches out of the zone.  The pull homers definitely would jump up, and probably enough that we’d be more forgiving of the Ks.

He can't get the slider over anymore.

Much rather see strikeouts if they extend at-bats and make solid contact instead of so much early weak contact to the opposite field

It's remarkable how Tony hasn't learned from a single one of his mistakes over the last 2 years

Same

This is where Tony puts in Foster and he gives up a bases clearing double.

Now what?

Lopez?

Remarkable but also incredibly unsurprising.

Probably Foster or Ruiz.

Even TLR knows there's enough heat on him to realize Foster isn't the brightest idea.

Yes? His stance in every at bat here is wide open.

It's open but take a  look at where he is in the batters box . He looks closer to home and that front leg isn't straddling the LF side of the batters box. I'll give you that it's open but he looks farther from the plate now. Don't think he's on that front toe as much as he is now too.

Several batters too late, again, but at least it hasn't cost them the game yet

Emphasis on yet

yet is the key word.

Cease has been amazing this year.. but eventually he has to become more efficient

He has to, he's a damn good pitcher but he throws too many too quickly to be considered a true ace.
