Colas isn’t coming until May 2023. It’s the right decision. Time to let it go.

If the sox are playing service time games with a 24 year old who isn't some top prospect, they are even dumber than I thought. Although I genuinely don't think they think he's ready given they started him out in A ball.

There's 0 reason to not be in front of the ball there

  • It's nice to know Reese McGuire can have a future in the booth after his mlb career is over.

  • Engel is on this team for 2 reasons, his baserunning and his defense. He has been atrocious at both. Please dont come back next year

But OMG you have to add him to the 40 and you might need him in 2028 when the Sox are fighting for last place.

Also playing service time games with someone who will turn 25 next season feels ridiculous to me.

Oh great, time for lefty Yas to hit.

Just looks like he’s cheating so much due to his knee.

I know it was a different situation, but they didn't play service time games with Vaughn or Crochet. If/when they determine Colas is ready, I think he'll be here.

Why not challenge?

Terrible, terrible jump

How slow is Engel? Jeez

Well there goes that

Don’t we lose it after this inning?

Sox doing all the little things wrong tonight

Grandal has been serviceable offensively for the last month, at least.

Not a great lead off or good job

So stupid; play to win the game.  Don't takes risks for to tie it late in the game when you have only 9 outs left.

He seems nowhere near as explosive on the field as he used to be

Oh great now it's gonna take 3 hits to score Grandal.

Need a Romy bomb right here in order for Yaz to score

That was a breaking pitch and Raleigh took a while to get rid of it and he still got him easily.

Can you explain how….I would prefer not wanting him to be exposed to this poor hitting philosophy that’s being given at this level myself but the only thing I can think of at this point is trying to manipulate service time to get another year out of him and extend our imaginary championship window we supposedly  have because your organization is cheap?

That was the pitch...

Don’t understand not running there but I guess they figure he’s gonna get another at bat. But I’d probably run Harrison.

Hanging sliders to Romy, can’t make contact

Romy needs to be careful to slow down his trot to not pass him.

Sad that Andrus is one of the guys I want to see up when the Sox need a HR.
