Seems promising at least.

So far, especially in the off the field department, it really looks like the 21st century crowd is back in charge of the decision making process with the club.

How much input does the manager get on decisions like this?

I would hope a decent amount.  Look, as we saw with Tony, you can have all of the assets and information in the world, but if the manager refuses to use it, it is worthless.  The scene that keeps playing over and over in my mind is the staff trying to tell Tony how a rule works, him refusing to listen, and Tony being wrong.

So far, i like the manager, and this seems like a decent move. Coaching staff should be any day now. Now fix the roster.

More outside opinions is a good thing.

Same title that he had with the Reds…wonder what the background is for leaving them / joining us.

Also, I believe this is what Grifol & Hahn were whispering about during their press conference.  Exciting addition for us.

Was this the extra inning runner rule?

Well if Pedro had a lot to do with this modern day hire, then kudos to him and Pedro just might be a great manager for the Sox and change the direction of this team.

I think it was probably in cooperation with Grifol, but also done above his level.

I'm never going to complain about getting Head

He can start with getting the Dominos Pizza Tracker tied to Luis and Yoan’s iPhones

Shelly Duncan was hired to lead some sort of analytical something or another.......the most puzzling thing about LaRussa to me was he was one of the first to embrace analytics in the 80s.
