Who wins in a seven game series, the current White Sox or the following 26-man roster made of active ex-Sox (and prospects):.

The rules:

• Assume perfect health for both sides
• If Engel, Mendick or Cueto re-signed, they'd be added back.
• Pick whoever you want from the org to fill in the holes on the Sox roster: Mark Payton in RF, go for it! Burger at second? Sure!

Man, I almost had Nomar Mazara on the roster. Then I remembered AJ Pollock technically counts.

Which, any doubt I had about the ex-Sox is gone. Abreu/Tatis/Semien + starting rotation + bullpen is too much.

Thought about Heuer, but he was not doing hot in 2021 before his injury.

Also before anyone brings up Madrigal - thought about him. Nah.

Ex-Sox, and I don’t think it’s even close.

Well that ex Sox OF sucks.....and their 1B may win an MVP but he'll suck in the playoffs.  I'll take the Sox in 6...I'm counting on Kimbrel to blow at least 2 games.

Depends.. If Chris Sale is actually healthy again, then I don't think it's close. That ex sox OF might be terrible with the bat but they can throw some leather.

looking at both rosters, its pretty evident KW, RH and JR have no idea what a good OF looks like.

Yeah, if you combine the two rosters, you get one good player. Robert. Two if you count the fact that the Padres are moving Tatis to OF this year.

Depressingly, finding a backup first baseman was pretty much impossible, because they're all playing OF for the current team. 

The rest of them suck too much or are out of the league.

The ex-Sox bullpen and OF are rough.  Those teams play 10 times, I am going with 5-5. .500 is the White Sox way, afterall. 

Of course, the Sox also don't even have an OF atm.

As loaded as the ex-sox infield is, I think I'd go current Sox.

That's a really bad bullpen.
