Moncada smart ba#running to freeze on liner almost snared right in front of him,  bases loaded again.   Can break game open here. 

Moncada singles yet again... promptly picked off first. 

On base something like 12 of last 15 opportunities.

Luis made some solid contact with a hard hit RBI groundout and a deep fly to center left. The 0-3 isn't flashy, but his RBI was the first of the game and his run scored after reaching on a HBP ended up being the difference in the result.

Cuba heads to the semis, and we'll be waiting a little longer to get our boys back in camp.

Italy is not beating Japan. I know it's baseball and anything can happen, but Japan is probably not gonna lose until the finals. 

Japan is a -600 favorite against Italy.

I think they’re on different sides of the bracket once they get to Miami.

You're right. I didn't know I had to scroll down on the standings page to see the bracket. 

Winner of Japan and Italy plays the winner of Group D runner-up and Group C winner. 

Cuba could end up playing the US in the semi-finals depending on what happens today.
