Most of those Latin American pitchers without 95+ fastballs are masters of the junkball/offspeed game. Of course, the same is true in Japan/Korea/Taiwan when the majority are throwing 88-91/92.
March 16, 20233 yr I had no idea Trea Turner is that bad at SS. Apparently this isn't a one time occurrence either.
March 16, 20233 yr Man, they really need to even up the pool play next time around. DR, Venezuela and PR in the same group is just a killer. Now we get to see Australia and Italy advance instead of one of those three? Yawn

March 16, 20233 yr My guess this morning was patella tendon. Jumping up and down with baseball spikes and other people bumping into you is asking for something to go wrong. This wasn’t a freak accident as some are making it out to be. It was avoidable. I’m sure the other teams left have been warned to cool it on the celebrations. Have fun, of course. But the piles of humanity are asking for this to happen again. Glad Eloy is back with the Sox.

They already sent Cuba and Panama to Taichung. Simply switch Panama and Dominican Republic's pools and you've basically solved the problem with no additional travel. There's a number of ways to do it without increasing travel much if at all.
