I miss nothing about Ozzie's last three years, and I am glad another era is not starting.

Your choice of terms I do NOT agree with. Ozzie isnt “weak”.  “Indiscriminate “ maybe but NOT weak.  Sox could use someone to put a fire under them they haven’t had since he was here.

Do all guys in their twenties and thirties need someone to put a fire under them or just millionaire athletes?

Most managers with a strong winning record and a WS win would have found work after the Marlins. Yet he couldn't.

Quitting on his team, PR disasters, and 63 wins with a Marlins team that was supposed to be a contender really sealed his fate.

Now he's been out of the game too long for anyone but the Sox to give him a chance.

Ozzie is a perfect midseason replacement manager. He would have been a perfect TLR replacement last July before things got out of reach.

I would not want him anywhere near a team from start to finish.

Getting down to basics, if you looked up "People who wore out their welcomes" in the Encyclopedia Britannica, Ozzie Guillen's picture would be the first one shown. Don't miss him one bit.

Obviously you don’t miss winning either.

Yeah and you were there too right?

Depends on your definition of winning though doesn't it. Ozzie at least had five winning seasons in eight years but the environment appeared to be getting more and more toxic. And again let's not forget it was Ozzie himself who walked out on a contract he signed, saying the afternoon of his last day as manager he wouldn't want to return in 2012 unless he got an extension and a raise.

He made his position very clear.

He is a loser and TV fraud. Same as Ozzie Guillen.

I miss everything about Ozzie. He bleeds White Sox. Who cares if he left the team with a week and a half to go? He was getting replaced and everybody knew it. Me loves Ozzie.

Could greg be the biggest Ozzie fan on this site?

And the Sox aren’t toxic now? Not saying one way or another on Ozzie but it does make one wonder from where the toxicity came and continues to come.

Ozzie all day everyday.  He has everything it takes to win, has won and more experience than any of these ass clown managers we have endured.  We start with Ozzie, somehow get an elite catcher and have AJ Pierzinski as bench coach then I might think we could at least be fun again.
