Any word on severity of Chappy’s hands injury?

I haven't seen anything, but he is not in the lineup today.

I'm hoping it's something minor since he went out to play the field a bit after the steal.

Charlotte 3-0. Hamilton down to .077. Sox should fire Boston and make Billy the first base coach.

Mini-Gio mowing 'em down in Charlotte, 5K's through 2IP. I like him.

He finishes with 11Ks through 5IP. 3H, no walks, 2ER on 2 solo shots.

Haseley pulled from the game early, didn't appear injury related.

Doesn't seem to make sense making a roster move to call him up right now, but a trade of some sort would also be a bit unexpected.

Kanny up 6-0 HR for Luis Pineda. Is he a prospect? Catcher, young for the level. He was decent in ACL last year.

Sure love the no walks.

Schweitzer with another solid start.

18 whiffs on 80 pitches for Scholtens is extremely impressive. It's nice to see consecutive dominant starts in Charlotte.

What the heck is going on with Cespedes? He has 2 walks tonight, which gives him 8 for the year. He had only 29 all last year. Coincidentally, being more selective has given him much better results. If this keeps up, he may have a chance.

It’s good to see him walking more but he still has way too many K’s. That will likely limit him to a 4th OF role.

HR #2 of the season for Popeye - bomb to LF

Gladney and Kath ?s

He’s in Charlotte already???

Kanny bizarrely sat camiletti but Sprinky with 2 doubles and a walk. Gettin hot hot hot!!!

Gosswein also had a solid showing.

I know it’s early, but sad to be seeing Wes Kath struggling so much. 12K’s in 18 AB. Needs to turn it around or becomes an absolute non-factor with the organization. Not promising.
