He did not have his best stuff, but did the job. an 11 run inning will lead to a lot of throwing it up there and letting them hit it.

 Im old school and don’t understand much about load management. I just know that this is a kid entering the time his life he will never be physically stronger. We’re protecting professional athletes like fine china these days.  Considering the state of the team, Luis might consider being against this and play.

Increased signs of life sort of verify the moribund state of these guys earlier. They were, mentally disengaged. Improper attitudes. That only happens to a lower class of player. It almost hurts to see a higher state of play knowing they didn’t  care enough to access it earlier.

Moncada back tomorrow. Hanser may end up as DH.
