  • The unwillingness to bat him 9 until he figures it out is insane.

TA batting second at his current level of production tells us everything we need to know about Grifol as a manager.

  • Glad TA is hitting 2nd again. The last thing you'd want is someone on base distracting Robert while he was trying to hit.

Phil Nevin is a realy dumb manager.  Like Rocco Baldelli dumb.

He's not even close to throwing strikes.  I suppose Grifol knows offense is outclassed in this one.

What a shock, Kopech can't throw strikes. Over 50 pitches and not through 2 innings yet.

Kopech didn’t get the memo to not let Ohtani beat us.

He didn’t get the memo he’s pitching tonight

Get Kopech out

He’s toast. Thankfully the Angels want to test the arm of the Great Grandal ?

This team will be 20 under .500 at the break.

The all star break will be the perfect time to fire RH.

Bonds Steroids Era treatment... except Trout is right behind him.

Trout is not on the lineup tonight.  Can’t throw him a strike even if you walk him, particularly with the Sox anemic offense.

Very lonely place Gordo when you can't lay off or hit a high fastball, also...and unfortunately we now have to listen to you until JR dies.

Oops pretty much the best team to rest him against.

Just kind of half paying attention these days.  Can't remember the last game actually focused in on for the entire time.

White sox will see 9 pitches this inning and kopech will be out there in less then 5 minutes.

Angels are another team that aren't very impressive but will school the White Sox.

Put Sheets down.

That was a professional at bat by Andrus, in that he was paid for it.

No idea why they like him so much

Why not let Remillard play tonight instead of Burger?  Must have required too much thought by Grifol.

Agree.  We need to have more contact hitters in the line up.  I would have preferred Sheets hitting ahead of Grandal and Burger, we probably would have scored the run instead of the 2 Ks with a man on 3rd and one out.

I bet Ohtani slept like a baby last night while visions of sugar plums danced in his head.

Another fast inning, keep losing please

The fact the RF options are Sheets and Frazier should cost Hahn his job.

Did he just throw a strike trying to throw an intentional walk?

Kopech should exit this game and skip a turn. They need to manage his innings better as he ramps up to full workload after so many injuries.

WTF was the sequencing to Ohtani, just walk him intentionally.  God they are a complete trainwreck.

He does have the highest walk rate on the team

I'd kill to be Ohtani's agent. He really should get 50-60 milloion a year.
