When a finger pointing whiner who performs poorly at work and on behalf of the team is gone, the rest of the workers / work team are relieved.

Lynn has a negative 1.2 bWAR, a 6.47 ERA and has been a negative WAR player overall starting with his crapping the bed in Houston to start the 2021 playoffs.

Also, the owner and FO have been children this entire time. People, be it potential management hires or free agents from the outside look at this shitshow and say hard pass.

This is why the only FAs they get are players with literally zero other MLB options, and why solid managerial candidates like Joe Espada say thanks but no thanks, and will stick out their bench coaching gig rather than go through what a poor Pedro Grigio is going through with Jerry, Hahn and what they “built” over the past decade.

How many losses do you think he caused by hurting their feelings?

Is Timmy an all star of if Lynn blew him kisses? Quit making excuses for these guys sucking. Oh it's not them it's Tony. It's not them it's JR. It's this or that. No. It's on them. If they can't handle Lynn no wonder they s%*# their pants when they play the Twins. Those guys in Minny are mean to them. The Guardian hurt their feelings.

Look where they are at today.  There is no chance they will sign the players they need to complete the roster to where it was this year prior to trades.  Where is the pitching coming from?

I can't believe they sell that they are competing for a championship year after year.  People here knew there were holes in the roster and that they needed guys to stay healthy, that didn't.  It's gonna be another year of guys playing out of position due to ineptitude or injury.

1. They simply can't admit they were wrong and screwed everything up. JR, Kenny and Hahn have tremendous egos

2. If they don't at least parrot that nonsense they may not get anybody to buy season tickets

Yeah, but that's what I mean.  There are 2 parts to a transaction.  You can't sell something if no one wants to buy it.

Dude, youre a teacher or former teacher in Texas. Jerry is vile scum, Hahn is an incompetent crony hire.

Good luck with whatever Texas team you cling to, and I sincerely  hope you have electricity and heat this Winter.

Imagine if players could play regardless of the owner or GM. I know it's crazy. Executives have so much influence with on field performance. Lol this is a new low for you. Once you step on the field play the game. You probably blame Comiskey on the Black Sox scandal.

Bobs notes,

The White Sox picked up zero cash in their trades. A couple veterans complained about lack of accountability on the White Sox. Aaron Bummer is off limits.  And Tony LaRussa is back evaluating minor leaguers.

Accountability isn’t t a probelm as we all know. As much as I dislike Tony, I am glad he is healthy again.

It’s not getting any easier with Cohen opening a hole in the Mets rotation and having endless amounts of money to spend.

Well $18 million for Lynn was pretty much the tops for one season...you just know it will be 2 $8-10 million Tier B/C guys or even 3 veterans.

Let's say Odorizzi Severino Montas.

What a bunch of whiny, self entitled, babies if Lynn caused them to be under .500

These guys couldn't handle a regular job if this affects them so much. No wonder this franchise sucks. They hire children.

You're absolutely right. That is major part of the culture problem on the Sox. Our scouting and drafting is seriously flawed. The good teams like TB, LAD, and others make sure they scout the right players, that besides being good baseball players, they are also good solid people with a strong desire to win and strong mental toughness to not let excuses hold them back.

We should scoop up both Severino & Montas no matter what else we do at this deadline.  Perfect guys to target for a team that needs a miracle to win next year.
