As long as JR is still breathing he's not going to make anymore drastic changes.

Remember he doesn't care anymore about the on-field record, he cares about leaving as much money as possible to his family and perhaps seeing the MLBPA finally broken in the next CBA negotiations.

But just in case, you may want to submit your resume again to JR. Get it to him early right? 😉

1) If you're correct about making more money to leave to his family, that doesn't say too much about his character. JR is already a multi billionaire. How much more money does he need? His family will keep the Bulls which are a goldmine. 2) I've given up on the GM job. JR hasn't responded to me in the past. I wouldn't think he would change his mind about me at this time.

What billionaire doesn’t want to keep making money? It’s simply how they are wired. Also, his ego doesn’t help. Jerry actually thinks he’s good at sports ownership because of Jordan and one Sox World Series 21 years ago.

Exactly correct. I'm surprised some fans still don't understand this about JR.

Only 1/162 but hard not to see how bad this team is if they can't find any SP. Shane Smith is a nice story but he's still very much up in the air as anything other than a back end 4 or 5th starter. Command is a real problem for our staff, not just control, but command -- we throw a lot of meatballs right down broadway, "non competitive pitches" but instead of wild, right down the middle. Neither is any good of course.

For the OF, losing Robert and Baldwin is crazily a big blow to the true talent out there. I haven't really seen anything from Acuna that suggests has anything more than a 1 WAR player.

But again, it's 1/162. Go get'em Saturday.

Have grown arguably by just $200 million during the last decade while Big 4 professional sports franchise values have exploded.

Which is pretty close to the capital gains tax he's been ducking for his kids.

SD meanwhile has doubled in value by spending to build an impressively loyal attendance base... and signing lots of talented players fans actually want to watch play.
