Grifol stated that fans don't understand Moncada and that Moncada will produce more as his back keeps improving. Any kind of offense will help.

His back is still an issue and soon after this season ends he needs to s%*# or get off the pot, have the surgery or not. If he doesn't, I'm willing to wager it causes him issues yet again in 2024.

  • Can I say I love Oscar Colas. I know he has not played great this season but he gets so happy when he gets a hit.    I think he genuinely wants to be a good player.

  • Grifol isn't here for that nonsense.

Moncada with an 8 game hitting streak. Maybe it was injuries.

Back surgery can be very risky...especially if it's like a fusion or something. That is a big decision that goes well beyond baseball.

He's already made alot of money it might not be worth it to do a major back surgery in terms of quality of life.

Given the lack of starting pitching unless the Sox are willing to go out and somehow acquire three starting pitchers you have to give consideration to Clevinger returning next year like it or not. He has been solid in this disaster of a season.

Hate to call him the Ace of he staff, but he gives you a genuine chance every time he takes the ball. If he's not in jail, he deserves to be here.  Let he who is without sin...

Rays' Lowe clowning the Yankees after brawl Sunday...they can't accuse the White Sox of being a last place team at least.

"Yet the Tampa Bay Rays, despite the benches clearing twice in their 7-4 win over the New York Yankees at Tropicana Field, aren’t taking it too personally.

“Looking at it in a different view, it’s a last-place team,” said Brandon Lowe, who hit a home run and four RBIs in the win, via The Associated Press.

“We don’t need to worry about it. We need to focus on what we need to do down the stretch.”
