April 7, 20242 yr Just read that Stephen Strasburg has retired. This just makes me feel old. It does not seem that long ago that they were shutting him down during a great season because he had reached his innings limit.

April 14, 20242 yr RIP Yankee pitcher and NIU star Fritz Peterson (82). Was part of a wife-swapping scandal with Yankee Mike Kekich in 1973 and Fritz later married Suzanne Kekich. I was also told he taught billiards at NIU. Per ESPN the announcement came from NIU on Friday.
