Crochet has been a huge disappointment after the great start

he's fine, he just needs some refinement.

  • Was it fun though? I personally don’t get any enjoyment watching a bunch of losers who 80% of won’t even be here next year win some meaningless games.    There silver lining is they can’t screw

I think we might have to manage our expectations with Crochet.

It's astounding with two GM's now that nobody yet has figured out how to replace Gavin Sheets in RF.

No way on earth Lopez comes back at $4.5 mil next year, way better options.

Still more of a thrower than a pitcher, and his arsenal is still limited in terms of variety...just can't pitch from behind at 96-98 fastballs without locating them well.

Deck chairs on the Titanic...although we already have managed to jettison approximately half the second base possibilities.

exactly, but he has no experience, so might as well take some lumps now.

damn that was bad luck.

Dejong crushed that. Lame.

That golden retriever was oozing hubris...

No DP all year for this pitcher, yet he has 2 in last 2 innings. Whole organization rolls hands over constantly.

Nice inning.

Perfectly said

Cmon Eloy

Will never understand why Eloy isn’t right on top of the plate.  Those pitches were on the outer half, and his plate coverage made it impossible to hit.  He’s really cutting off his swing.

12 K's in the last 6.5 games for DeJong.

I can't tell if Stone is actually a dog person or just putting up with it.

He’s pretty bad.  Doesn’t walk (3), strikes out a bunch (29), and occasionally hits a random home run but not enough of them (3).  It’s pretty amazing he continues to be employed.

He is.  He might like his dogs more than people.

Excellent, so there is something he actually likes out there. Glad to hear it!

Solid performance tonight by Crochet...but the Twins' offense is not much better than the Sox.

Not many in the game envisioned Luis Severino with a 2.31 ERA at this point...so kudos to the Mets for at least battling this year after a rough start.

Jinxed lol.

Hopefully Crochet is ok. Looked good the last few innings.

Here goes the tie game...
