Schriff may suck but we got rid of that other wipe. Hiring Guy Smiley who's never heard of the Sox does not surprise me. Could have a future on What's My Line?

  • The whole regime needed to be gone.  He was part of the problem IMO, not part of a solution.

Getz’s offseason was garbage and he managed to make an awful team even worse. He also gave away two pitching prospects and an infield prospect for essentially nothing (Fletcher and cash).

Pace yourself. You have to be running out of houses.

Just checked the score. Has there ever been a worse offense than these shmucks??

If it's not him or Skip Schumaker managing next year, I wonder if they fire him around the break and bring Santos up to Chicago and let him learn under Montoyo on the job. It doesn't make a lot of sense but neither does this organization

Santos/Sizemore/Jirschele/Leyland's kid

ANY OF THE ABOVE.

I think the Santos video where one of his players got promoted is getting weighed a bit too heavily, but who knows.

The Barons' manager makes sense as well...which is Santos.  They are the "pride" of the farm system at this point, best record, most prospects together, etc.

Also started his career with the DBacks, so might have some connections with Barfield as well somehow...would have to track his coaching career since he retired.

So happy not to have to watch this.  This is as bad as the beginning of the season.

It’s truly amazing that Pedro hasn’t been fired.  This organization is in horrible shape.

For some reason, I think if the Sox go meekly into the night and become the first White Sox team ever to get swept an entire homestead of at least 7 games, Pedro is gone. 99% chance I'm wrong, but it just feels right.

Bold words. Shut out tonight.

Yeah I really want to believe he is gone tomorrow after losing tonight.

Wow...two whole hits.

why is it so difficult to hit it past the warning track for the sox

Lee in danger of sliding under .700 OPS now...

.267 BA and solid defense, he's the LEAST of the Sox worries right now, in the overall scheme of things.

Worst GM worst manager ever.

How bad has Ramos looked since he came back recently?

Fletcher?

Man, those are some ugly ugly statistical lines, without considering Maldonado and Benintendi.

Fucking flat

Listening to Schriffen, Pedro is great, most of the players are studs. It's amazing they ever lose, let alone almost every night.

Maldonado down in the .260's for OPS getting PH for by Mendick...yikes.

Let's see here who Grifol's going to attempt to pin this on to make them the "fall guy."

Last year, it was pretty much everyone who left the organization at the DDL, along with Anderson and Grandal.

Next?

Colas and Sosa are too low profile to take the blame for this.

Are we going to get the obligatory hitting or assistant hitting coach firings first?

KC Royals now at +13, Guardians likely at +18

Someone has to be fired tomorrow, right?

They'll probably start with the ushers

40 wins would be a miracle for this band of nitwits.

vaughn chasing trash again.

john sounds like he's about to cry and stone is ready to just quit mid season it appears.

Lee is a ballplayer.

KOREY LEE!

Atta boy.

Narrowly avoiding shutout losses...not sure if that's good or bad at this point.

Now Grifol has to praise Lee for fighting until the end, lol.

That's why physical profile matters more than ever in today's game. And launch angle. Ballplayer.

He did a great job putting Lee at DH on a team that has 3 too many and a catcher with an OPS of 295. Assclown Pedro.
