The Lakers just sold for $12.5 billion.

Wow! Mark Walter, who also owns the Dodgers, just bought the Lakers a year ago (for $10B). The team is being sold to Jared Kushner's brother and former Disney CEO Bob Iger.

They're so screwed. No 1st round pick until 2034. It's one thing if you're trading them for something, it's another to not have any at all.

Clippers gonna Clippers.

People are making fun of this because he is the ceo of Ticketmaster but I actually 100% agree with it. The biggest pain is felt on the market here. The players, owners get less. He should lose his franchise to the league (with avg sale price for league not reasonable by market). It would never happen again. Owners would never agree to it though.

They spent so much time fighting against tanking and now they will have a pretty much permanently downtrodden franchise, like SMU after their Pony Express death penalty.

The most expensive stadium in basketball history will soon be an afterthought...as if Donald Sterling wasn't bad enough already.

Fine of $30 million to Balmer's $145 billion net worth is just pocket change/coins under the couch cushions.

And then there's the fate of draft picks tied to Clippers' previous trades for future picks...which has already cost MVP SGA and Jay.Williams to OKC.
