October 11, 2025Oct 11 Exit Mateer and Dante Moore from the Heisman race. Move up Mendoza and Ty Simpson. Hold Trinidad Chambliss. Edited October 11, 2025Oct 11 by caulfield12

Luke Fickell might not survive the week at Wisconsin if this type of play keeps up at home against Iowa. Edited October 11, 2025Oct 11 by caulfield12
October 12, 2025Oct 12 SEC coaches are so annoying/obnoxious... One thing's for sure, NIL is working to prevent superteams like Alabama, UGA or USC under Carroll from collecting all the talent. Lots more parity in the Big Ten and SEC for sure... Those that can't adjust like Franklin and Dabo now on the outside looking in...
October 12, 2025Oct 12 This year feels like outside of maybe 1-2 teams, it is anyone’s race. Tons of parody in college football which are words I don’t think I’ve ever said.

October 12, 2025Oct 12 Ohio State doesn't really have a game that most would consider a test until Michigan...who looks even weaker considering the OU/Texas loss and now USC.
October 12, 2025Oct 12 James Franklin is out at Penn State. As someone who grew up in Michigan, he will be missed. Also, just letting the universe know, I would take a $49 million buyout.

October 12, 2025Oct 12 How much is Luke Fickell's buyout if the Badgers start over? "This past offseason, the Wisconsin Badgers actually extended Luke Fickell, but his buyout remained at the same figure of $25 million. Firing Luke Fickell would result in the second-biggest buyout ever paid in College Football, behind only Texas A&M firing Jimbo Fisher. If there's a silver lining for Wisconsin it's the fact that rather than owing a massive sum upfront, they'll pay the buyout in monthly installments making it much easier to manage. Fickell's contract was structured so that the Badgers would only have to pay him 80% of his contract value, which does help if they need to move on..." Kirby Smart $118 million, Kalen de Boer around $90 million buyouts...Norvell at FSU really big as well, Dabo at $60 million. Jimbo Fisher's buyout from Texas A&M is set at approximately $76 million, making it the largest coaching buyout in college sports history. Buyout Breakdown Total Amount: Texas A&M is obligated to pay Jimbo Fisher around $76 million as part of his buyout agreement, which is nearly triple the previous record for a public school coaching buyout. Dude has a couple of really bad losses in a row, and they are instantly writing a $50 million check. I would almost bet money the next guy isn't as good.

Tomlin leaving the Steelers would be the wild one. Most are focusing on Cignetti and Matt Rhule, a PSU alum and rebuilder of programs.

November 11, 2025Nov 11 No. 9 Notre Dame (7-2, at-large) at No. 8 Oregon (8-1, at-large) We don’t think Notre Dame will be out of the playoff bracket the rest of the season unless they lose. The Irish easily took down Navy and a trip to Pitt in Week 12 will bring out ESPN’s “College GameDay.” After Pitt, Notre Dame plays Syracuse and Stanford. It’s hard to see how anyone ousts the Irish from the playoff with a 3-0 finish even if you want to quibble with their schedule. yahoo.com/sports
