I blame this on Chris Getz.  And Brooks Boyer.  And WestEddy.

In no particular order…

Maybe they should try starting LATER to keep the Sox scores out of the news, lol…

Now many summer home night games will officially be over before dark, than just over.

Of course we don’t even get the Dodgers at home this year…JR must be fuming over that missed revenue bump.

Sox are sacrificial fodder/lesser Washington Generals for LAD fireworks nights July 2/3/4.

(Although might not want to deliberately put flammables into the SoCal air…?)

The earlier start times save money on lighting. They also ensure workers get home earlier, and are more productive the next day.

I love this. Gives you time to just chill after and watch something else (on days you actually feel like watching this crap haha)

Yeah. Home games will be over before 9. It's great.

For all of the people out there actually watching the White Sox this year...

Shouldn't it instead be 6:41 for the 2024 win total?

I do not miss the days of looking for box scores in the paper and seeing “late game not included.”

Or the 9/10 pm news not having the late results or West Coast scores.

Hey, do you remember sports phone where you could call in to get the scores?.....that's pre pre pre internet for those of you playing at home.

Not a bad idea, but it doesn't matter to me. I'm not going. They can keep their 100-loss seasons.

Yeah, my parents never let me call those.

I do remember the phone numbers you’d call to get the weather forecast though.
