He's a good player who lots of teams would want. Didn't make it very far through waivers, ATL is the 6th worst team and might expect to be good next year. Definitely don't need him this year. This stuff is so weird. Like it's a ball. What are you even gonna do with it, lady? It's a cool memento for a kid although he didn't seem super impressed. There's some moment etched into my memory: a spring training game like 20 years ago, the batter fouls it up over the backstop, some kid makes a nice catch before an old man rips it out of his glove. Gramps grinned and inspected the ball, not a care in the world as everyone booed him. Look of pure joy on his face.
