2025 MLB season...catch-all for non-Sox, non AL-Central

"In fact, the Cubs have five hitters with at least 100 PAs and a wRC+ of 140 or higher this season, with Carson Kelly (166 wRC+), Seiya Suzuki (146 wRC+) and Michael Busch (141 wRC+) joining Tucker and Crow-Armstrong in that group. Tucker, Crow-Armstrong, Suzuki and Dansby Swanson have all hit at least 11 homers as well, making the Cubs the only NL team in 2025 to have four players reach double figures in dingers."

If we catch them even for a day I will be so insufferable.

I think it was a joke, but at best it was creepy.

You literally just commented.   This entire post is a fully political post dressed up in a bit of aw shucks bullshit.

Lots of Cincy Reds on that list.

Eric Davis was a thinner version of Luis Robert who was the definition of a fast twitch athlete for his generation. Tried to corner the market on his 1985 Topps rookie card.

Baseball cards were fun back in the day, until everyone realized that the baseball card companies were overprinting every conceivably rare and valuable card like crazy and the value of the majority of cards dropped to nothing.  Bastards…

Now it has gotten so expensive with the whole jersey swath thing...all these collectors buying unopened boxes in the hopes of finding one specific autographed rookie card.  Feels more like only a small segment of the public can participate, whereas it used to be middle class accessible.

Begging the Pirates to get Skenes some help.

Seems the “1/0 Runs Allowed” stat is unnecessary. He would obviously have to give up at least 1 run to get the loss.

PCA on pace for a 9.72 fWAR.

Also, Aaron Judge is going to obliterate all the records if he can keep this up.

A's won a blowout vs. the Dodgers to get to 22-20...and have lost 19 of 20 games since.

Jacob Wilson might be the most fascinating player in baseball

Only surprise is the Marlins and not the Rockies here...

Roman Anthony 0-4 with a BB, K and RBI in his debut. Also an unfortunately timed error.

Boston leads the league with 60 errors through 68 games.

Kjerstad just sent down to AAA by the Orioles. Could be a good buy low candidate for the Sox. Get him hooked back up with Ryan Fuller. Plus it would be hilarious to see O's fans reactions if Kjerstad was traded for scraps.

Good idea. I wonder what it would take?

Sox are still sorely lacking in OF prospects.

I was thinking Korey Lee - Gary Sanchez is their backup catcher and has been horrible. Either that, or a B-tier arm because the O's need pitching.

I'd do that.

They're going to ask for more than that...they'll use all their expiring vets like Mullins, O'Hearn and Sugano to fill holes in their team for next year.

They will and they should get more, but I’m being spiteful.

I know they have some pitching injuries, but it's wild to watch the Dodgers just conceding a division game.

They were down 4-0 through 5, left a rookie out to die at 111 (!!!) pitches until it was 9-0 in the 6th, and then put a position player on the bump.

Should someone check Shohei's betting accounts again?
