  • The stats like Meidroth more than the scouts. I am always skeptical of MiLB players who derive the majority of their value from walks. Long term, I think the Sox have better options at 2b. I am Antona

  • I don’t know. Rojas isn’t really a ss. I would rather have a plus defender at 3b and let someone else ply ss.

Rojas third Baldwin SS Sosa 2B

Meidroth has to show more with the bat.

You guys left Caulfield all alone in his own game thread

I thought it was your day to watch him?

Eventually he does but he'll be a rookie. If he can get on base at a .350 pace I'll take walks as a substitute for hits.

All snark aside, Smith is going to be the best Sox starter by the end of the season...north of Birmingham at least.

Sounds a lot like the Vargas case.

Ohtani Kd twice at 98 mph.

Please keep Sosa away from the left side of the infield...

Taylor toast...completely overpowered.

Meidroth flinching up there...not comfortable against Glasnow.

2/16 double from Chase this spring.

Robert .389 ba

Robert looking much more engaged this spring.  Walk after starting out down 1-2.

Tauchman looking old up there.  Another K.

Snell Ohtani Glasnow Gonsolin led majors in baa over 2022-24 period.  not fair lol.

At one point, I would have thought Jon Cannon was the OD starter. Now I wonder if Thorpe and Cannon to AAA eventually battle for a rotation spot.

Shane Smith being a viable mid rotation starter would be a big win.

ND/Duke time...Nastrini at least at 94.3.

Cannon will definitely be in the rotation.  Bryse Wilson will be fine out of the pen.

I wonder when we just switch Nastrini to the pen.

Michael Taylor looks awful....which is too bad I've always liked him.

Love Nancy playing the Jeopardy theme and Mr. Roboto during challenges

Whomever said Meidroth isn't there yet I agree. I very much wanted him at 2nd opening the season. His eye is great but his hard contact isn't there.

I'd very much like our opening day catching tandem to be Teel/Lee. When we talk about vets taking young at bats to me that is Thaiss. Id like to see more Quero too. If Quero/Teel don't break with the club I feel they'll be there by June at the latest.

I am Antonacci curious. He could either rocket up their list or prove to be just a guy. Either way, I think we find out fast.
