Look, when you have a decades long season ticket holder telling the organization to f*** off, the problem isn't if the fans are big enough fans.  Most people get that.

Rightfully so. It's not going to be a good year for wins. Hopefully we see prospect progress.

I am going to watch very few games...but the ones I do will be young starters, call-ups and late inning replacements for that very reason. Need hope or this is a completely lost cause until Jerry sells or dies.

Definitely.  Think there’s a world where we get a second half rotation of Schultz, Smith, Smith, Thorpe & Burke for a bit?

Say everything is going right for those guys and they are torching the minors, will we get a taste?

I don’t know the plan for innings,  but it would be cool though and plant some serious seeds of optimism for 2026.

What's the worst betting line you would typically see in an mlb game? Was thinking about going for another 20 game losing streak

I think best case scenario is they only lose 110 games.

Worst case, they break their own record.

I lean towards worst case as of today.

Might be stretching it a bit calling what they play baseball.

Never said it was good baseball. But I go to college and HS as well so I'm used to the level of play. I'm working games this weekend actually.

Yeah I don't get the im not going or watching crowd. Especially the people lucky enough to live close enough to get to go to the games of their favorite team.

I watch damn near every game because I just love baseball. Would it be nice if they were good? Of course.

I really don't mind going when they're bad because I can get in and out of the park easily.

I'm going to pay more attention to the system. I've never really done that in any sustained or meaningful way and I always enjoy learning new stuff.

If you love professional baseball I have no idea how you watch every white sox game right now. They're offensive to the game.

I watch games of teams that put an MLB product on the field. You love pain, not baseball.

No, I love the White Sox. You're right, they suck and its embarrassing to admit that's my team at times but it is what it is, they'll be good again eventually.

I've gone to many MLB games were I didn't have a dog in the fight. Because of the stadium, the history, a few players on either roster I wanted to see, or I just love the game. I've also lived in an area that only had independent league. Another area that has AA and college.

While the Sox are the worst team in MLB baseball it's still MLB baseball.

We all like the White Sox --- we're on a fan forum.

You said you didn't understand the never-watches crowd and went on to say you love baseball so you watch every game. The Sox last year were an embarrassment to baseball.

As I've gotten older, the value of my time becomes more important and wasting 3+ hours a day on an entertainment product that has spent zero effort in actually entertaining me is not ideal.

I'm still incredibly active in my baseball viewing, but I'll watch teams who take the point of providing an entertaining product more seriously; and who have more respect for the game in general.

I love baseball, which is exactly why the Sox weren't worth a minute of my time last year.

I've been to plenty of games that ended with a team winning by six or more runs. Are those not worth your time? Or only when your team wins?

I don't understand it because its still my favorite team and im going to watch the games. Im in Houston, so the only time I get to see the White Sox live is when they come down here for 3-4 games once a year. That doesn't mean I would have an 81 game season ticket plan if I lived in Chicago, but I would still go to games when they suck because its just enjoyable going to a major league game.

I also have kids who like going, and I couldn't imagine saying "Sorry, my team sucks so you don't get to go". I understand that doesn't apply to everyone though.

You comparing an individual game outcome to a team doing everything in their power to put garbage on the field night after night is an interesting choice.

I'm trying to understand what games are worth your time watching. Even if somehow I knew it's a blow out in advance it is still with my time. I'm trying to understand your time.
