You can’t stop Chase…you can only walk him

Meidroth MVP chants lol.

From his family...at least.

Can only hope to contain him.

Maybe the Sox will be a good home team this year and ultimately learn how to play on the road. This team seems better than last year's. Meidroth has a chance to be a hero with the fans after tonight. His AAA manager had all those great things to say about him in the video. He could be special.

So you gonna cheer him?

Omar nice AB…….AV could learn something

Why wait for a non tender when a DFA is quicker...

I would think you can at least get a minor league pen arm for Vaughn at the deadline. he's nonguaranteed for next year so a team could just take a flyer on him catching hot for a few months with a hitting coach

Who is saying this? Red Sox announcers? Stay out of White Sox business, bozos.

I absolutely love that he didn't just swing wildly on that shitty 3-1 pitch like most of our hitters would have and instead played his own game to get on base.

Meidroth batting 7th is crazy. Should be batting 9th, 1st or 2nd

White Sox giving them Fitts...Red Sox starter tmrw.

He will be batting first or second shortly.  This was just due to him being a newbie.

Started hitting lead off in Charlotte. By the end, he was hitting 3rd.

They might need to bunch Robert Quero Drury Teel after Vargas/Meidroth...that would be the best/ideal way to generate offense down the line.

I have to say I like what the new kid is bringing in his debut. Looks like a halfway competent ball player with decent athletic traits. Huh, they do exist.

Hagen Smith versus Jac Caglianone, the comparison we will be hearing about for years...

Kid ain’t swinging unless it’s a pitch he likes.  His intelligence at the plate is legit next level.  It’s just something White Sox fans haven’t been exposed to much during the past regime, but it’s super enjoyable to finally watch a player who regularly makes smart swing decisions.

On base machine, like @Chicago White Sox said.  He may even have some untapped power (10 to 15 homers).  We'll see...

I'd take 275/360/410 with 40 doubles and 8-12 HR a year to the bank right now. In today's environment with decent defense at 2B that's a 3-4 WAR player over 150 games.

Exactly.  This is how the old Red Sox lineups used to get base runner after base runner.

he has hit 3 HR in 9 games in Charlotte
