Maybe the Sox will be a good home team this year and ultimately learn how to play on the road. This team seems better than last year's. Meidroth has a chance to be a hero with the fans after tonight. His AAA manager had all those great things to say about him in the video. He could be special.

So you gonna cheer him?

Why wait for a non tender when a DFA is quicker...

I would think you can at least get a minor league pen arm for Vaughn at the deadline. he's nonguaranteed for next year so a team could just take a flyer on him catching hot for a few months with a hitting coach

Who is saying this? Red Sox announcers? Stay out of White Sox business, bozos.

You can’t stop Chase…you can only walk him

I absolutely love that he didn't just swing wildly on that shitty 3-1 pitch like most of our hitters would have and instead played his own game to get on base.

Kid ain’t swinging unless it’s a pitch he likes.  His intelligence at the plate is legit next level.  It’s just something White Sox fans haven’t been exposed to much during the past regime, but it’s super enjoyable to finally watch a player who regularly makes smart swing decisions.

Exactly.  This is how the old Red Sox lineups used to get base runner after base runner.
