Super Official GT Sox @ Twins 6:40 B.Wilson/Festa

Byron Buxton has a .289 batting average with 88 hits, 22 home runs, 51 RBIs and 65 runs scored in 90 games versus the White Sox in his career.

Make that 23.

And Booser was the bright spot in the pen.

He’s done with the Sox after this year.  They won’t pick up his option and he will go sign elsewhere for like ten million.  He’s just another bust that lost all ability during what should be his peak.  I can’t believe they haven’t changed his swing mechanics.

Don’t worry, it’s only 24 games. Pretty soon it will be - don’t worry, it’s only 50 games, 80 games, etc..

Counterpoint: let the better bat play and after 2-3 at bats, bring in the glove. Works better since they’re the road team as well.

Better defense for the top of the order, more times, and a better hitter against the bullpen, probably worse pitchers than the starter.

Refreshing to have a full team effort loss where you don't solely point the finger at the offense, defense, starting pitching, relief pitching...

Yeah I’ve never, ever heard of this approach

Pretty soon it will be….I wonder if it will work out for him on the Angels.

Irrational hot takes for everyone!  You get an irratioanl hot take! You get an irrational hot take!  You get an irrational hot take!

Here’s a no so hot take.  Your favorite GM can’t build a decent bullpen to save his life.

It's like having your best power-reliever pitch the first inning, and get the best three hitters out the first time. Every at-bat is equal. Runs scored or saved early count as much as those scored or saved late.

Tim Anderson's defensive metrics look excellent this year

Sure, an opener….but teams never put their best defensive player in the game early on and then make the move this early.

Said this last year, and same is true….losing isn’t supposed to be this easy in the majors.  Jerry should be so ashamed.

Wait till the trade deadline and they get rid of anyone who is tradable.  I think Getz hasn't figured out he's a ML GM and still trying to make Birmingham and ONLY Birmingham better. He's trying to make up for his incompetence as a minor league exec,

Might want to try harder with that Birmingham offense. I literally skip right to the bottom of the box score to look at the pitching.  I was thinking yesterday that I’ve never seen a relatively high first round pick become as irrelevant as Gonzalez has so quickly.
