Charlotte game went to the 12th, both teams with position players on the mound.

Dominic Fletcher gets the save for a 13-12 Knights win.

And he struck out a guy to end the game with the tying run on third.

Yeah I thought he had mostly dropped it completely, but that is pretty pronounced.

Charlotte score 13….cool, Colson probably did well.  Yuck, also Free Elko

Californian Ohtani

I appreciate Fletcher hitting 86 on the radar gun. I miss the days of position players letting it rip, that was the only fun thing about them pitching. Although I think Fletcher has a good bit more than 86 in the tank...

So much for your theory...he and Robert/Vaughn are seemingly tethered together.    0/6 2 K's but 2 runs scored (yay?)

Teel is just doing "okay" for now.

I know he is down a level but is Jordan Sprinkle doing something different?  Believe he always was considered good at ss with the glove but never hit and was passed but ……..420 is crazy at any level

He has toned down his swing and changed his approach. In his Junior year, he started pulling the ball more, seeking to become a power hitter. He stayed with that approach with the Sox. This year, he's going to right more. He bunting. And when he gets on, he tries to steal at literally every opportunity. It's an approach more suited to his skillset. Still not a likely major leaguer, but if you squint you can see how that would happen for him. I wish him all the luck.
