chitownsportsfan
It's a Dick Allen bobblehead day, which is pretty cool. Go Sox. Edited May 3 by chitownsportsfan 1
caulfield12
https://www.mlb.com/gameday/astros-vs-white-sox/2025/05/03/778066/preview Benintendi Robert Taylor and Thaiss should all be in the lineup. Going with 28-32000 attendance unless the weather is really bad again...day game though. Looks like 47-50 degrees, partly sunny with 10 degree winds for this one. The wife and I attend a road game every year. That way JR doesn't get our cash. This was too much for me to resist. DA was my idol as a kid, and he still is. GreenSox
Sox haven't had much luck in the ace-avoidance category. Hunter Brown today, Crochet twice in our 7 games with the RedSox, e.g. Astros are still good, but they've lost a lot of their firepower. Can see why they were trying to move Valdez - he's still good, but not great. Edited May 3 by GreenSox

I find them audaciously ugly, like the '77 collared tops, or the 83 softball unis.

I’d say, he can survive out there, but I wouldn’t say he’s a center fielder. This is where maybe Fletcher > Palacios

caulfield12
Martin up to 96 in the first. 93-95 more common for him. CH best pitch 90-91 unusual speed differential, gets him with the slider.
