GT Sox at Royals 6:40 pm Burke vs. Lugo

Let me state for the record that I would have just left Leasure in. If you lose with Leasure, it usually takes a lot less time

I’m telling you, KC is their Kryptonite!

Given their record last two years, Major League Baseball is their kryptonite.  Let’s be honest, our MVP this year is completed game due to rain.

Pathetic!  All these guys suck, that wasn’t a hard grounder to field

I thought they had a good chance at a double play but they couldn't even get one out. What the f*** is Amaya doing up here if he hits .100 and can't make a play any good defensive shortstop makes?

They used to save performances like this for Oakland

At least we didn't have to stay up until 12:45 am to see it.

And then the awful throw by our defensive specialist

Amaya, Taylor - these clown-asses need to be off the team.  It's ridiculous to load the team with 27th men.

Royals didn't do squat all game, and they win.

Watching the botched grounder to SS, I don't think there's much hope to get double play there. It's probably a ball that a Meidroth doesn't touch at SS given how hard it was hit and how far from the starting position it was. The problem for Amaya is that he actually had plenty of time to get the force out but didn't use it. IMO, at least. Amaya played it like it was double play or die

Isn’t India really slow?

Statcast would place him as the 3rd fastest runner on this rather slow White Sox team

Regardless of the disposition of the India ball, I hope the brain trust will take the opportunity to ask themselves whether Amaya's glove is giving enough value to justify his use of that roster spot

I honestly had no faith that they could win a one run game.  It’s not in their DNA.

It's why the rain has more saves than any pitcher on this team.
