Brooks Boyer should consider adding a Pope puff of white smoke behind the scoreboard after any home win.

Dude, that deal has been done.  Ishbia free to spend or to not spend, and so far, he has chosen NOT to spend.

He is laying back like a private equity investor or something.

Yes because he hasn't been spending already, but sure.  Stay mad.

Fake news.  Read the press release again (paragraphs 2 and 3).

Let’s actually be upset at the future owner of the White Sox for not spending money on the team when he is actually officially the owner.  Meanwhile, Jerry hasn’t spent money on the team for years and yet you always seem to defend him.  Strange…

Not to mention it is quite literally in there that he is paying off Jerry's debts, and that is what is spending his money on.  That and  (not listed) most likely a stadium.

At least you didn't mention doing the white smoke when a stadium deal at the 78 is done.  🙃

There will be plenty of enough smoke coming from Tray's ears

Strange? That's some real bulshit. My ONLY concern about  overblown allegations of Reinsdorf being "cheap" has been because the continued use of that specific term implies something quite ugly to certain people. The fact is that JR, like any Owner, relies on many people in order to make decisions on acquiring expensive players. He has learned, as have other owners, that spending on player contracts does not always guarantee a championship.

Maybe stick  to cooking hotdogs for the family. That you are good at my friend.

You mean like when he laughed at White Sox fans about the idea that he would approve a contract to sign Shohei Ohtani?

Read the press release over and again, and then scratch your head. The Ishbia option makes little sense for Sox fans, investors, the ISFA, and the media....way too much uncertainty (see link below)

Ishbia/Reinsdorf can take that uncertainty out with a sale this year. One idea might be for Ishbia to outright purchase the franchise for a few Billion and give  Reinsdorf  what he stated he wants - the right to remain as Chairman of the Board ... for perhaps 3 years , NOT for as long as he is alive. That's bulshit.

He doesn't care about chairman.  He wants the team to transfer when he dies.  Hence this structure.  The whole world can see it.  The only uncertainty is when Jerry is going to die.

At the same press conference he also said they wouldn't be signing any pitchers to long term deals.

Are you inferring that Jerry is cheap?  Stop being racist please.  Per Tray, that’s the only deduction that can be made if you question Jerry’s willingness to spend money.

And apparently you can safely make the same suggestions about Ishbia and it’s not an issue, despite him also being Jewish. Intriguing stuff.

Wait? Is this true?  If so, there are some posts that just got a lot more ironic.

Yes, it is true per both Ishbia brothers’ Wikipedia pages.

Which is definitely ironic because we can now make the accusation that Tray is an anti-semite based on his own comments on the matter.  Ishbia won’t spend money on the Sox because he is apparently cheap per Tray, which also illicits the same ugly connotation as those he says rip Jerry for the exact same thing.  Once again, all Tray’s words.  Does anyone stick their own damn foot in their mouth more than Tray?

So now, after all of your bloviating about Ishbia not spending money on the team yet, you are acknowledging that he isn’t actually the owner yet?

Words that would start a bar fight in another setting.  That's what you do.  See how far you can go before someone grounds and pounds you.

Your very own words, which makes it more hilarious.  I’m also not worried about a geriatric trying to “ground and pound” me.  Yeah…  I’ll be fine tough guy.

I made hot dogs for my kids.  So funny…

Stop making conflicting and hypocritical posts and you won’t be called out for them.  You’re welcome.

What the f*** is wrong with hot dogs?!
