Montez Sweat needs to show up in the stat box at all. The team needs actual running back depth. Johnson is going to be here a while at $14 million per year. kwolf Posted September 9 Share Posted September 9 I felt the team got really conservative with that lead. Heck he went for a 4th and short in the game. Didn't make it, but take a shot. Ben Johnson doing Wannstedt V 2.0. Wanny was an innovative play caller and became head coach and morphed into Woody Hayes. The defense is merely average and is without a couple good players. The oline struggled to open holes, Williams was OK, I didn't think he was bad, but he does miss reads and throws. But he also makes some really great plays. Gotta give him a long leash. But yea, old school Bears fans have to have QB PTSD as the Bears have not had a legit QB since Luckman, though for one year Jim Mac was great. After that Erik Kramer was probably our best. Haha. Officiating was brutal tonight. Though can't blame them for the 1st half false starts. Kicker missed a big kick. He has to make kicks.
