He was another dumpster dive for a .5 WAR player. 3.7 million I think. Just more money lit on fire. There's some positives around the club but the FA process remains a complete dumpster fire. They bas

I didn’t see much of the game, watched a bit over the weekend and kept hearing on the broadcast how great the hitters are, how great the pitching is, how great the prospects are, and on top of that, m

The guy you choose to close out the game has a 5.12 ERA. Can't believe it didn't work.

He's just unlucky.

Another version of Aaron Bummer.

The only time we miss Vaughn. He somehow always gets a hit against a tough closer.

Sosa saw one pitch....

Hitters on an 0/25 stretch now against opposing hitters.

Bad break on that blooper by Alonso.

LOL Rojas so bad

Rojas just can't hit any more.

Meidroth hit streak on the line.

At least get 1 guy with experience who won't choke every game.  A C level closer

Except he wasn't closing the game. Doubtful he would've pitched the 9th . Closers usually just pitched the 9th.

Look at that Meidroth takes some pitches gets on. What a concept

Alonso was walked intentionally...

Tauchman disposed of like an old rag doll.... This one will be in the L column folks

Sox never answer back by scoring……must be nice to use a closer

The inability to come up with add on runs is a killer with this team.

Meidroth not running.

From 22/23 to 5/8 success rate stealing against Diaz 2024 vs. 2025.

True. But it was high leverage.  And since we don't have a closer.  Who do you think will lose the game now

I would hope the Mets would have a lights out closer since they are trying to win a World Series currently.

7-8-9 up.  Bet he starts with a walk

Listening to the Mets TV broadcast I see.

Mets leading majors in one run games.

Just believe they can and will win in these situations since late last year.

Sox 5-21 on road

19 blown leads.

Abysmal one run record.

Yep.  A lot more insightful than Schiffren.

Almost impossible to catch that backhanded and sliding into the wall.

Game had 2-1 loss written all over it.

So predictable

Hanging slider.  On the bright side it didn't go out.
