DirtySox
No Colson, but Brooks has homered again. He's making a mockery of AAA.

Lyle Moooton
This is more related to yesterday, but is there a site that shows minor league pitch selection? I haven’t seen a ton of Schultz this year, but when I have seen him it looked to me that he’s not using his slider as much - presumably to work on his other pitches. He needs to develop a weapon to get RHH out.

peanut33tillman
Zavala goes yard for WS. Not a big Zavala guy but he seems to be playing better.
Lyle Moooton
Oppo line drive single for Braden…good to see him using the whole field again.

I think his BABIP just came down to earth...for awhile it was like 350 or 360 and just the other day I looked and it was down to 280 that may explain some of his slump so I expect things will prolly even out in a positive direction. He hits the ball very hard so he should be an above average BABIP player normally, certainly nothing like 350 that's not sustainable but he could be a guy that is routinely around 315 or so. I still think he will likely be in AA at some point in the summer and perhaps in Chicago in the latter part of next year.

Which is a reasonable timeframe. 2025 was not...especially not starting his pro career until this season.
Autumn Dreamin
Good stuff from Luis Reyes tonight. 7IP, 0 ER, 4H, 2BB, 4K. Easily his career best start. Kanny won 4-0, played good defense. Dash won 8-3 F/7. Zavala stayed hot with 2-4 and a HR. Braden 2-3 with a 2B and walk.
BamaDoc
Taylor pitched back to back nights. Think for the first time.
EloyJenkins
I hope they dont rush braden up. He alone could be the most important piece to the outfield rebuild and there is zero reason to start his clock until next season. They are still another center fielder away though from having some stability Edited June 8 by EloyJenkins

They are grooming him to close by the end of the year, I believe.

Dangle it for him in spring training, send him down for six weeks.
