The problem is that there's a lot more playing time available in the outfield for Baldwin (short-term) with the plethora of 2B candidates in the organization. Unless they move Sosa to 1B? No idea where they're going to fit in Colson, probably 1B/DH as well...but you just know they're going to want to prove that he can play SS at the big league level, moving Meidroth off the spot he's just starting to get really comfortable with. So much for Pallette to the majors any time soon... Colson will play SS, Meidroth will be 2B. Baldwin will be super sub all over the diamond. That why he was sent down. Their development takes precedent over anything to do with Sosa.

So much for Pallette to the majors any time soon... Pallette is really struggling with the baseball in AAA. He should be in the big leagues. There’s no reason for him to be in Charlotte.
